I thought we were trying to open up the waterfront to the city. Adding another bridge does the opposite.

Judging by yesterday's (April 17, 2011) wind, snow, and rain storm over the weekend, going outdoors would be an adventure.

This one is 6 metres wide! If that additional overhead cover is enough to discourage you from walking from Front Street to the Lake, then you are not well equipped for city life. Instead of looking at this narrow additional bridge from a victim's point of view, just will yourself forward 10 more paces.
