not sure if I'm liking the addition of this element, though will have to wait and see the finished product to be sure. It just seems to detract from the clean lines of the building and seems a bit too whimsical for the financial district.

Edit : I already saw someone wearing a Trump Tower Toronto shirt when I was watching the Netherlands World Cup win at a bar the other day...

I'm sure glass balconies on glass cladding will make it less noticeable especially at this height.

These balconies get my vote for Most Random Design Element. They are up there with the Juliet balconies on CrystalBlu for WTF-ness.
