Ugh. The black brick looks horrible here. If the brick were similar to the building's neighbours, I'd give thumbs up. But really don't like the contrast in this case.

^^^ thats a good point. I walked past here last weekend and found the building almost unnoticeable. I couldnt quite place my finger on why until you just said it. Absolutely, the black brick does not work well here.

What I really don't like is the giant black void that's visible in that first shot. Could they not have done something more interesting with that spot? I know it's the 'side' of the building, but still. At least put in a few interesting architectural features or some fake windows or something.

Not Wallman's best. This has a depressing feel to it in pictures and in person, almost like a chunk has been cut out of the street.
