You asked for it UrbanToronto, and you got it! My annual big October update, 57 separate buildings under construction in Toronto's core photographed on one day. SEE umbrellas at HtO. SEE the good and the bad of Liberty Village. SEE two stadiums under construction. SEE cladding at Regency. SEE all the latest over at CityPlace.

(Can you tell I'm taking a marketing course?) (And failing).

When you first go to the site, it will take just a second for the thumbnails to download.

Big October Update

Allow me to be the first to congratulate and appreciate your hard work.
This type of update was long overdue!

What a gift of an update. Thanks.

85 Hanna in Liberty Village looks fantastic. Let's hope all future development in that area looks and works as good.

The SixtyLoft, Stewart Street, Bathurst area: imagine if one of the developers broke away from grey glass, concrete and pre-cast look and say, used red brick instead of pre-cast. How it would stand out and break the uniformity and dullness that is developing in the area!!

It will be interesting to see how HtO Park's non-grass elements are ultimately finished. Concrete? I hope not...there is already too much at Harbourfront.

Spire looks amazing...except for the mustard yellow. I would have preferred any other colour (a stark blue would have been nice).

I am liking the unique design elements of One City Hall. Pre-cast and a squat box can work, with a little creativity.

One Six Nine's unpainted concrete looks terrible in real life. The building looks unfinished.

The Hazelton looks like it will be great...it looks even better in real life. Certainly no cheap-outs here.

And you forgot to take pictures of Trump.....oh, right.

Thanks for the hard work! It's easy to forget all the smaller projects out there. Looks like you had perfect weather for the job!

Great work.

I was surprised to see what looks like the sales pavillion for the Four Seasons across from the Regency in one of the photos.

Great pics - thanks!

Random comments:
Marriott looks great (other than the back).
The Gallery has nice clean lines.
One City Hall - nice strong visual elements.

Great work Bob! Thank you so much.

The east side of One City Hall has mirror like cladding running down the side of the building in a zebra like pattern. Looks really good.

I don't recognize my city anymore. Half the projects here I didn't know existed. Thanks Bob.

Thanks Bob, amazing update.

There is something really bothers me about the Liberty Village projects - the brickwork is too unnaturally "clean".

Great to see all the mid-rise projects in the city as well.

Templar Hotel?

I haven't seen this before. It is a boutique hotel?

Re: Templar Hotel?

nice update - pretty much got them all

Re: Templar Hotel?

Thanks for the great update.

I have many comments, but not much time, so will just say that I am blown away by the Met. It's a really classy building.
