Thoughts on Westbank's initial proposal.
100% rental is an interesting first move - it certainly got many of those in attendance on Tuesday (seemingly) on board. As the front page story relates, Gregory Henriquez' presentation was actually met with applause, something both unexpected and welcome at a meeting such as this.
Platitudes aside, a friend whom I trust in these areas seems to think that Westbank are pushing their proforma to the edge and may not be able to deliver on what they've alluded to. This is in no way a doom-n-gloom post, but merely a reminder that no financial underpinnings were presented on Tuesday.
