So heres another image of the Alt hotel. Its going to be 15 storeys high, with a 156 hotel rooms. And will open in fall of 2020. It'll also have retail component and underground parking.

haha I just realized that this project and the Alt Hotel are the same project, they're considered a mixed-use block and they share a parkade. So apparently we've had a 15 story tower under construction for a while and didn't even realize it :D Makes sense since the whole south half of the block is being excavated.

That's awesome. I had asked the people at the August sales centre about construction of the hotel and they thought it was coming later on, but looks like it's a go. Good find!

The guys at Alt Hotel EV said this one should be up and running in the second half of 2020 apparently :)
 
I asked him but he wasn't sure if it would be modular or not. We will see in a couple months :)
