33rd should be lined with this type of building the whole way. Hopefully one of these buildings will finally trigger a controlled intersection between 20th and 14th. Those 6 blocks have turned into a constant high-speed street thanks to all the new development (34th Avenue too). It would be much more livable and have a better urban vibe if people could cross the street easier.

Then write your city councilor and tell them to approve the proposed zoning changes in Marda Loop (from low-rise residential to mid-rise mixed-use).

A few more pictures of Avenue 33. The EIFS has now made its way halfway around the front of the building. Can't say I'm too excited about the colour. It looks a lot more beige than the renderings (unless it's going to get painted?).

Beige-gary Strikes when you least expect it. :eek: I lowered my vote from Very Good to Good on account of sub-optimal delivery.
