It's definitely going to have some of the best views in Bankview and the inner SW. Great location.

If there's more 26 Avenue projects in the future of this scale, would love to see a few retail spots along the corridor. There's some nodes already further out, but that immediate local retail options (cafe, convenience store, small bar) are missing, despite an enormous amount of intensification in Bankview, South Calgary and beyond. Marda Loop and 17th Ave are both kind of close, but a single cafe would probably be a big hit given the density of people nearby, an ever-growing local population and lack of immediate competition.

It is only a few blocks from Starbucks, Sip Cafe, and our daily brett, but yea a bar would be nice.

Agreed. Just running the numbers on Google Maps, this is about a 15 min walk from Marda Loop (33 and 20) and 20 min walk from 17 Ave (@ 14st). There are a smattering of places that are <10 mins away (Starbucks, CSpace, etc.). Not bad, but definitely less walkable than surrounding locations. The hills in South Calgary and Bankview also making walking a lot more strenuous (especially in the winter).

Given the number of apartments along 26 ave, some more retail along here would be great. There are a couple commercial buildings at 20 street and a park with an excellent view of the downtown skyline. It could be a great place for a bar or cafe.

I think 26th was part of a former streetcar route, would be a great small retail corridor.

This could just be my untrained eyes, but so far this is coming out pretty different from the renderings. No top 2 storey setback on the West side (side the photo on the right is taken from), the rendering makes it look 4 storeys tall rather than 5. Windows are definitely VE'd (just look at the faux cantilevered unit at the corner). Balconies jutting out from the envelope like a traditional condo rather than more inset. Proportions in general just seem off, with the building appearing a lot taller and less articulated than the rendering - just look at the height at the columns/steel near the entrance. Anybody more in tune with this stuff care to correct me? Again, untrained eye.

Found a small updated rendering on the Traine website. What a massive downgrade:

Anyone know where to find more renderings?
