What this building absolutely nails is picking an architectural element (the gradient change in thickness of the balconey edges) and ensures that it is entirely constructable from the get-go. They knew how they were going to accomplish this probably between LOC and DP drawings.

I very much like RNDSQR, but I think it is a key problem they may have had on Courtyard (and sometimes I worry about RNDSQR Block in the future) is that the constructability of design they had shown for renderings even by DP likely weren't completely solidified. Renderings often would show transparency in areas that are unclear as to what the final cladding will ultimately be. I do understand that Courtyard went from condo to rental and probably needed to go through a few stages of VEing to where it is today, but I worry it may be a bit of a let down on materials for the upper levels. However, this is something that I can clearly see was a lesson learned from Courtyard for ARC33 as it is crystal clear what the materials will be and that it will be constructable as rendered.

Bucci being older and more established clearly knew how it would be constructed earlier on and it shows from the renderings to the finished product, how the cladding would be finished to meet the design intent was always present.

I don't know a lot about anything, especially when it comes to architecture but would I be wrong in saying that the elegance in this building is rooted in it's simplicity? I just find the design so simple yet so clean.
That is right and what I was getting at. The more interesting parts of the architecture were considered early on and that’s why the finished product is so nice compared to a lot of what you see here.

If there was uplighting, this thing would look like a beacon from downtown. Possibly draw people in.
