Bridgeland = Density + Good Urban Design= A win-win.
I think you're right about it becoming more of a destination location. I've taken a few walks around Bridgeland over the past year and it's noticeably busier. In recent months it feels like Bridgeland has kicked into a new gear I've never seen before, and we haven't even seen what it's going to be like when Dominion, The Bridge, and Steps are completed.If the action around this block and the park this weekend was an indication, Bridgeland is going to be nuts with activity this summer. It kind of feels like it's becoming a bit of a destination, as opposed to just a place for the neighborhood locals.
A urban format grocer on 1st Ave would be a nice fit. The extra residents will also help boost retail, not to mention there will be a fair amount of staff at the new continuing care facility during daytime and evenings, that'll help boost retail as well.Bridgeland could use some more retail but other than that it has been great to see how it has evolved.
Looks like they put a new mural in.View attachment 322049
