Yeah, centre street is almost a lost cause. If they could somehow allow parking on Centre Street, you could potentially turn it into a corridor like 4th street SW in mission, or Kensington, Inglewood etc.. Having parking on off peak times (like 10th street) might work.

Centre Street has parking on both or either sides for most of the length to McKnight?

Or, if by some miracle, the Green Line gets built along the surface of Centre Street and the car lanes are reduced from 5 to 2. The neighbourhood is going to fight it, but that would probably turn it into one of the hottest neighbourhoods in the city.

The Crescent Heights CA and most residents would love it! I used to live in Crescent Heights and most residents are not happy that Centre street turns into a freeway from 3-6pm. The businesses along Centre would fight it tooth and nail.
