This is an interesting project, but can anyone explain how an "Art Incubator" works and what it's supposed to accomplish? Is like ACAD where artists receive a sort of formal training and certification? Or is more like a place that offers spaces for artists in residency? If the latter how is it funded and how long can an artist remain in residency?

I should also ask, am I missing the boat entirely?

Architecturally, I think it looks pretty good so far. It seems like a nice marriage between classic and modern. I'm sure how I feel about the cladding on the right hand (from the observer's perspective) wing. It isn't in the first rendering. I'm not keep that it it's covering over sandstone like that.

Thanks Darwink, the correct answer was C, none of the above then. It's pretty much just space set aside for arts groups to claim. I'm guessing at a some cost? It isn't really a centralized institution in that regard then.

Great win for the city, and the area especially anyway.
