What happened to the plans for the overpass at this intersection? Thought this land was to be part of that...

I think it's not going ahead anytime soon, if ever. (And as I said in the discussion above, I personally think the solution is to keep the at grade intersection, but put the tracks in a trench. It would remove the ugly Macleod overpass, and unlock so much land)

I always thought an enclosed waterpark with a retractable wall or two for the summer, would be very cool. You could have a rental and hotel component with balconies looking out onto the waterpark that I'm sure would be a hit in the winter and even in the summer. At night they could turn into a Vegas style pool/bar. Maybe there's no market for it but a guy can dream.
