I don't believe that's a dumpster, it looks more like an electrical utility box. I could be wrong, but I don't believe they have a choice in where to put it.

Ah fair point - although the sentiment still stands. Although, the onus less on the developer in this case, and just a broader discussion about how utilitarian we treat the public realm.
 
More detail for the east facade. It's not too bad. With this, Hotel Alps, Flyover Block, and Era, the southwest corner of Bridgeland will be seeing a hell of a lot more activity soon.

Now that Edmonton trail is getting some love, we need to spruce up Centre Street!
Might need to wait for the green line for that. Given how drastic the changes to center street will be, I imagine developers would rather wait until its finished. That being said I think 10 years from now Center street could start becoming really nice, once the greenline is finished and developers start taking advantage of it.
