Some Co-op updates on their $1.25 billion investment into mixed-use developments in the coming years :
-294 units
-Potential breaking ground for the 2 storey office building (first phase) could be around Jan/Feb 2020 with a 5 year window to complete all phases.

Looks like work is starting at the Oakridge Co-op redevelopment. Not sure which parts are going ahead when, but it is good to see work starting.

I wonder who the new development partner is for the residential portion.

From what I have read, the first phase is staging the property for a sequence of residential builds, construction of a new Co-op store, followed by the tear down of the existing store. Has anyone heard anything about the residential projects? i.e who the developer is?

A DP for a new supermarket has been submitted for this site, so the redevelopment is still progressing. Not sure how much it resembles the initial design and renderings from 4-5 years ago:

The demo has started on the dumpy stripmall attached to the CO-OP. Will try to get some photos later.

I was over there about a week ago. The mall apart from the grocery store was completely gone.
