That was what i was looking for, forgot about Place Ten. That is a pretty good interaction with the underpass. That is all i was trying to show in my verbose post.

Was it even possible to remove that little substation house? Maybe they had no choice but to work around it. At least the sidewalk will be fresh and new.

That is probably a pump station to remove water from the underpass. It would be tough to move.

I think the integration is decent considering the pump station. With the pump station stuck there, it really limits what can be done. Once it's finished it'll be decent enough, certainly 100 times better than what used to be there.

The integration isn't terrible considering the utility station there. They could have maybe tried to add steps as everyone suggested behind it, but I bet there is a right of way they couldn't work around.
