I just realized that once the Marriott Autograph starts construction, we will have 1115 hotel rooms under construction in our downtown core alone. We have needed this for so long. Hallelujah!

Hotel rooms have been long overdue. I wish the new Marriott Autograph was in the Beltline, maybe some where around where The Royal is. That's a great area for tourists to see the real downtown. On the other hand, it will help breathe some life into 5th ave after hours.

It's always been promoted as rentals. This is great news. Another 120 plus meter tower for the Beltline, right along the rails! Couldn't ask for better in this economy!

Kind of a mundane pic, but actually quite interesting. It shows the two buildings with complete separation, so not just one podium. I would say this very much indicates the residential tower is getting built.

How awesome is it that we're basically getting two 120ish meter towers right along the tracks out of one project?!? Can anyone confirm the height of the Rental Tower? I seem to remember 127 meters, but I could be wrong.

I never saw the DP on that one, so can't confirm but I recall it being a bit taller than the hotel tower, so probably in that range.
