Agreed, watched at hockey game at that arena a few years ago and had a blast! My favourite arena is the one that hosts the Spengler Cup in Davos. Its small, and covered in wood. Spectacular!

This assumes that the nation is willing to give a subsidy. Hopefully the ‘success’ of the Glendale entertainment district is taken as a cautionary tale.Hmm... I've heard something like this mentioned awhile ago
An arena would have to make some of the taza development much more valuable. The needed boost to make it make sense would need to be in the $15 million+ a year.Well, seeing how CSEC are determined to have someone else pay for their arena, I would be amazed if there is any truth to putting the new arena on Tsuu t'ina land.
Seems that an in camera meeting is happening today. What, if any, new information is to be publicly shared, we shall have wait to see.Picking this back up... The city's investigation of other potential partners to help build a new arena and specifically the report on the findings is expected to return to council in March. Do we have any further clarity on when in March we're going to get this report?
