I think I prefer the darker look to Drake's lighter look. Thanks for the updates
 
I like the tower portion of Smith better than Drake, but I prefer the podium on Drake.
 
Some of the fencing and tarp has come away from the building, and there is a much better look at the base.

The Podium is solid. although both Smith and Drake aren't tall, they are good medium sized developments. These types are good for Calgary's core, and we could use a few more.
 
Yeah, the podium is good. It's a good mix of materials that gives a fairly basic look, but also a timeless look. I like the way Grosvenor's buildings have an understated but solid design.
 
A solid concept design before the units were layout. The punched windows with spandrel panels and asymmetrical balconies takes everything away from that original concept. I don't like the podium color combination

Smith certainly turned out as rendered. Not bad, I'd take 20 more like this dispersed throughout Beltline, West End, and Mission.
