seems kinda lazy having black frames and white doors

Maybe the doors will be painted? I noticed the same thing at Courtyard 33. The doors are also white but the trim is black and the renderings would suggest the doors should be black, so I assume they’ll be painted 🤷‍♂️
 
Would have been nice to see a building that makes more of a nod to it's surroundings with the parcel shape leaving a bunch of unused bits next to 5th Street because the building has a square footprint and the 5th Street edge is a diagonal. Not a fan of the siding either, but pretty generic density boost otherwise.

What's with the elevated first floor? Is that all driven by the flood or groundwater requirements?
 
I think the thing I hate most about this city is the level of cheapness in almost every building's exterior.

I'd say that this thing looks like it should have been built in North Bay, Ontario, but I think it would have had slightly nicer cladding if it was in North Bay.
