I’d rather that building went under a restoration before it’s replaced by a bland street wall just to get condo units. There’s plenty of clear land and that building adds some architectural diversity.

Yeah, the building presently there has exactly the type of street oriented retail one would hope for. Small retail bays, clear glazing, and a mix of interesting, local businesses.

If there's no news, we don't know. That means that it's likely on hold. ASI just started their "The Fifth" project, so this one is years out at best.

The DP for this one has been submitted, interesting that they are not going for the height allowed for in the zoning. Looks like 6 story wood frame:
