Great shots! I can't believe there were so many houses in the Beltline in the late 80's.
Beltline changes from 2006 to 2018. Significant change in just 12 years.

What I noticed most about th9is was the change of color from predominately brown/beige to a mix of light green/blue/gray and brown/beige.

Love how the Beltline skyline has merged into the downtown skyline. Kind of like Okotoks inevitably getting absorbed into the Calgary CMA.

Whose idea was it to take a picture of Calgary from that angle. It was unflattering even in 1987. Were wastes of parking lot considered good things back then? Look at all the parking available in downtown Calgary!
I'm pretty sure that's from an old Hockey night in Canada clip. Very unflattering for sure.
