Major improvement to the part of the sidewalk immediately butting up against the development... now to hope the city or developer improves the corner at 14th. It has really bad pedestrian visibility.

Are there any trees planned? Like, any greenery along the sidewalk?

If the trees are nurtured and survive until old age, this will look great. Lots has to go right for them - Calgary summers in 20 - 30 years will be pushing month-long 30 degrees stretches. The time for creating more shade is asap.
On the sidewalk a small thing that frustrates me - I get why we need the car access on the front given the lack of the lane. But does the whole ramp need to be sloped and so oversized? Shouldn’t we have like 4m of flat sidewalk, instead of a sloped sidewalk that only serves to make cars drive a bit faster and smoother?
Reverse priority here - it’s a small thing but will create daily frustrations with sidewalk ice and snow and add wheelchair complexity that offers no noticeable benefit to drivers. Just have a fully flat sidewalk and a tiny ramp near the curb for cars
