do you think they are starting to build it now? or do they still need to wait for permits?
Three years but pretty sure you can get an extension. It was approved back in 2018, quite a while back. Is there a time limit to a DP once it's approved? I recall it being three years, but can't remember if that's only for DP's that haven't been approved.
I've seen some permits get extensions. Hopefully that's the case here, and they are looking to go ahead.Three years but pretty sure you can get an extension.

That's my fear with just about any demolition these days. So few of the proposals seem to be moving forward right now. With the apartments gone, I pray it doesn’t sit as an empty lot. If they applied for a BP there’s hope that it’ll get built. Fingers crossed.
Boy are we ever! I was in TO in the spring and it was just depressing seeing all the construction cranes vs. the smattering of cranes (mostly for 6 storey wood frame) here. Then again, I suppose the city we are most often compared to, Denver, is also not exactly a hot bed of skyscraper construction these days.It would be nice to see another high-rise. We’re kinda hitting a dry spell.
