Proposed expansion of Windsor Stadium at 2365 McDougall Street to an estimated 6000 seats as part of a bid by former CanPL commissioner David Clanachan to bring a new professional soccer franchise to Windsor, in partnership with Vancho Cirovski, owner of League1 Windsor TFC. There has not been any movement on this since it was initially announced in summer of 2022. Later in fall of 2022, however, as part of mayor Drew Dilkens' re-election bid, he had proposed an alternative stadium location in McHugh Park at 9655 McHugh Street on the east end of the city. It is unclear which will be the final location, but it is understood that Clanachan prefers Windsor Stadium.
