CHICAGO Part Two...Our Kind of Town!

CG: For Part Two I recognize these:
2-Citibank Building constructed on site of old North Western Station now known as Ogilvie Transportation Center where METRA/Union Pacific now operates under contract the former C&NW North,Northwest and West lines.
4,5 Merchandise Mart including a close-up - a 30s era Chicago classic!
7-Wrigley and Chicago Tribune Buildings on N.Michigan Avenue-Classics again!
9-Lake Point Tower-early 70s era I believe.
14-John Hancock Center,Water Tower Place and the old classic Water Tower Pumping Station(The Water Tower itself is just to the W across N.Michigan Avenue)below-good memories for me there! The one question I have : Is the Chicago Visitors Center still housed there as I recall?
15-18 Atop the Sears Tower-Not the best weather but the view makes up for that...
20,22,23,24-Pics from the Grant/Milennium Park area...
25-Calder Stabile near 70s era Post Office...
26-Trump Tower rises above N.Wabash Street...
28-N.Michigan Avenue at Grant Park with the Prudential Building on the left
and the Standard Oil Building(now Aon Center) along with new waterfront
building construction...
30-A interesting contrast of old and new here-details if you know?
46-Looking N on N.Michigan Avenue near the Art Institute(Museum)...
47-49 Millenium Park art additions...
That concludes my thoughts on Part Two. LI MIKE

Thanks Mike... I was hoping to go back and caption them all properly eventually... your list is a very big help!

The grandeur has apparently left nearly everyone speechless. Millennium Park is a tour de force!
