I was randomly walking in the tunnels connecting the hospitals around College and University this afternoon when I spotted something a bit out of the ordinary. About halfway along the tunnel connecting the subbasements of Mount Sinai Hospital and TGH (or maybe Sick Kids), where it crosses underneath University Avenue, on the tunnel's south wall, there are markings of a walled-off subway entrance. It even says something like "northbound/southbound University subway". If I go back anytime soon, I'll take pictures. Anyone know anything about this? Or even what station it would have gone to (it seems to far south for Queen's Park)?

If it connected to a station my guess would be Queens Park which due to the curve north of College would likely have more platform south of College.

They're just painted (indicating where the tunnels line up), from what I recall, but kind of neat to see nevertheless.
