By "Downtown" they appear to be referencing the 109st & Jasper strip mall. I can't wait for a 3rd dental clinic with Griesbach in the name in the area. One can never be too spoiled for choice.

Yes, it seems to be trying to be similar to the 109 St and Jasper strip mall. It looks fairly nice in the pictures, but we will see how it goes.

It is a suburban replication, so I would say Downtown Lifestyle Elegance is getting a bit carried away,. Of course, that usually never happens in commercial development!

Realistically, it looks like is meant to serve the neighbouring residential areas and not draw people from downtown, so I suspect it will likely remain a suburban experience, but perhaps nicer than some others, despite such high aspirations.
