@Daveography I have talked to people who work at Concrodia who said this has been in the works for a while now.
According to the exhibition lands survey this is where the project would be.

Concordia's current residence is at its max population.

Concordia has grown by 800-900 new students this past year and are ranked 7th in Alberta post secondary right behind NAIT.

Damn! Concordia sure is stepping up its game nowadays! Also, I don't mind the design, think it's decent and suits the university well (although I hope that the terrace will be accessible and have stuff on it).

Any dev permits pushed through? Or even demo permits for Bellevue hall? Assuming they're going to yank that down

Concordia doesn't own the Bellevue CL Hall site yet, so they won't be demolishing or building anything until they purchase the land from the City.

Not sure the exact project but something fairly large went out to tender recently for Concordia.

It was the GC's building package with a small signage portion. Saw the drawings and they look pretty good
