I read about this building in the Journal in about 2014, but I've never seen the preserved facade up close. I know "facadism" is fairly controversial as far as preservation goes, but when it's done correctly (as it is here, in my opinion) it really is the best compromise. We need more of this, where possible.

It certainly helps when the masonry is done as well as it was here.
