Yes, the glass canopy at the top is a unique touch. Framing extends above the HVAC unit a bit and looks to be inline with the glass from the render, so I hope that's it.

I see this tower, and I have to take a pic. As in, it's synonymous with "Alcoholics Anonymous", is their a group for Skyrise Anonymous? I'm just so relieved that there are not many more projects on the horizon so that I might soon be able to assimilate back into the regular nimby population of not looking up... ha ha.

I wonder if those opaque windows at the top is what's replacing the corrugated metal enclosure you see in the render (design change courtesy Stanley Milner Library ?). Can't see what else it could be assuming the render doesn't differ significantly.
