So is it going to be like a two stage climb of the tower? Center core, then rest of the tower structure? All while the podium is being constructed concurrently?

Still not sure; based on how it's gone so far, though, I think they will rise together, with the core one step above the tower.

My core belief remains the same re number of floors by Santa-day. If you guys recall, there was a redesign related to how the podium would access Rogers Place. I believe that that re-design, re-pricing, and re-construction prep has necessitated the current strategy.

If that is indeed what they are doing it's a smart move, no reason the tower can't climb whilst they sort out the podium details as it doesn't pertain to the towers structure.

Oct 7: Core now 3 floors up, floor slab forms one level below. Already having an imposing presence on 104 Ave. Along with Edmonton Tower and Rogers Place, the street-level feel here has drastically changed now.

Nice being able to use the sidewalk on 104 Ave again.
