So true, @Hilman, so true -- hopefully it will be coming down soon -- a note on the Ice District website suggests that phase II is going to begin in mid-2018 and my guess is that it will be with the project that occupies the Baccarat site. Did you notice in your photo that they have begun glazing the amenities floor?

Yes, @Hilman, if they are actually going to start Phase II construction-wise in mid-2018 they are going to have to announce their project soon. From a Public Relations perspective, what better way to do that than at the point of demolishing the Baccarat building -- more bang for the buck (double entendre

Now Edmonton's 4th tallest structure -- next floor up will put it in 3rd place -- 3 floors after that and it will own the "tallest" title for the rest of the year.
