Been watching them take it down all week. They were riding the hoist. Remove a section , lower it into the hoist and move down to the next section. The cranes are lifting out the last sections and landings.

Absolutely kick ass build that Marriott is. Really a game changer for Edmonton. In a year or so when she opens, kaboom ! Edmonton is on fire

I hope that S/E street level corner will remain open and free flowing to plaza access. No clutter. It will look really impressive walking in from Oilers Way.
