There has been activity. All the trees have been removed, and they were installing scaffolding to the pedway today.

Nah I just barely remembered what it looked like before, guess they have started a fair bit then.

Excited to see this go up. The larger, at street presence of this, along with the new arts building and the health learning centre, will and has helped push Macewan look more like a part of downtown as opposed to being the edge of it. And vice versa, pushing the edges of downtown Edmonton and its size even further.
