Everytime the developer opens his mouth to describe his inspirations I find new ways to hate this.

Feels like he's trying to game the development process, too; he's currently applying for a DP for the building shell, then going to Council for a rezone in a couple of months to adjust the parking, update permitted uses, and a few other things.

I'm guessing it's because he knows he'd never get the rezoning normally, but if he invests a bunch of time and money up front, it will be harder for Council to turn him down.

Oh to be a fly on the wall on this one. I wonder if the way he verbalizes the inspiration behind this beauty is as jumbled and incoherent as the design itself.

Wow Dave, your going far beyond the call of duty for this one. I hope you brought some Pepto-Bismol with you. The colour pallet kind of reminds me of just that

The videos and renders seem to imply more active frontages than what they showed at EDC, which was basically none outside of what faces the parking area. The entire north face is proposed to be one big grey wall.
