AFAIK, he was only consulting with Rize and helping them through the rezoning process

I could be mistaken, but I thought I saw signs of water damage before the fire. There were puddles on the concrete slabs and stains all over the dropped in ceiling. I walk by a week later and all the windows are busted out from the fire.

You're absolutely right @Romanov, I live right beside this site and unfortunately they've let the building slip into a pretty terrible state of disrepair (even before the fire).

Correct, I was only involved during the rezoning through my consulting company, Callidus. I am no longer involved and Beljan does not have any stake in this project. I really wish they would get moving on this one, it would be a game changer for that part of the Warehouse District.

The building owners are located in Ontario, so unfortunately things may not move as quickly as with a local owner.

The project was put up for sale a while back, so it's quite possible it has new (hopefully local) owners at this point

Basically every ground floor window was broken or cracked, upstairs not so much
