Excited for this one. It will be noticeable from the southwest I believe, unless it aligns with the Annex building.
 
This one is to be rental as well, is it not? Looks like developers are taking notice of the lack of higher end rental in central Edmonton.
 
Site is fenced off now for the old church demo as people have all found new parking that parked in the lot as their notice was for Dec 1.

I feel it's important to remember that this is another building that could not exist if the airport overlay were still in effect. It wasn't closed just so that we could build towers like JW Marriott & Stantec (not to mention it was closed for other reasons beyond that, but that's outside the scope of this discussion), but to open up the market to more moderately-scaled buildings like this in downtown, Oliver, and other central neighbourhoods, which would not be economical to build as wider, shorter buildings.
 
Oh so true, the flight path and height restriction affected such a huge area and not just for the taller buildings depending on where you look.

I should see if I can dig up the info I had on that airport and its flight radius dealio.
