Proposed Oliver rezoning for residential tower

Edmontonians are invited to a drop-in engagement session to learn more about a proposed rezoning at the northeast corner of 111 Street & 100 Avenue for a high-rise apartment.

Date: Thursday, May 23
Time: 6 - 8 p.m.
Location: Grace Lutheran Church (Gym), 9907 114 Street

The proposed rezoning from High Rise Apartment Zone (RA9) to Site Specific Development Control Provision (DC2) would allow for the development of a high-rise apartment building on a mixed use podium. To facilitate this rezoning, an application has been made to amend the Oliver Area Redevelopment Plan.

Feedback will be summarized in a report to City Council for a decision at a future public hearing.

@Grandinite Everything I have says 43, though of course the zoning bylaw doesn't work in stories, it works in metres, and 130m easily fits 43 stories. That said, the developer could build shorter.

Just a quick shot on the building currently on the corner. It's OK, it's got some nice deco touches, but it's no architectural gem IMO.
