Overview:
Thinkspace was retained by the University of Alberta to assist in the feasibility study of a new School of Business on a site on East campus. The program calls for specialized classrooms, student space, business information commons, PhD Research space, as well as staff and faculty office space for the B.Com, MBA, Executive MBA and PhD programs. The building integrates with existing buildings and grounds to provide a direct connection to the open space of the adjacent river valley. The building also has flexible academic meeting and industry collaboration areas. Images of what the building massing and quality might be like were part of the assignment.

Building the the second render looks like the Humanities Centre on the main campus, so the parking lot south of that would be my assumption.

I believe this is going up where they have erected the red crane off 111st and Sask Dr.

@And Saw that crane from across the river, wasn't sure what it was. Will have to get a closer look to confirm.
