I've known about it for awhile, but it's becoming a bit more public so I thought it deserved its own discussion space.

Toronto Lands Co. The TDSB's real estate arm released its 2022-2023 Strategic Plan through the Agenda of this week's Planning and Priorities Ctte at the TDSB:

The key bit from that report is this:............

Look at that size............for an Elementary School no less.

Consider, the new school proposed for the waterfront is barely 1/2 that size (under 50,000ft2)

Edit to add, I just had a look at the footprint of the existing building, 120,000ft 2 would be roughly 4 uniform floors across the entire footprint.

This is an early post for you! On another note, I'm glad to see larger schools for this growing area; it'll also help alleviate the need for those godawful allotment sheds so many schools are forced to build.
