The feds have an office at Harbourfront that's open 7 days a week. Was able to apply for my daughters SIN number yesterday (Sunday). Apparantly its the only federal office open 7 days a week across the country.

Thanks. Hey Ed, how long was the wait? I need to get my son's SIN card too but the wait at our local office was 1.5 hours.

It took all of five minutes. There was nobody there but two employees.
Address is 235 Queens Quay W (IIRC). Its a small standalone building just west of Queen's Quay Terminal. Looks like a tourist info building (which it is beyond being a proper federal office).

That building's a full federal office?! How did you discover it? Brilliant goverrnment idea: offer an amazing service and not tell anyone about it.

Found it online when downloading the SIN application form. If it does SIN and UI then I assume it does everything else as well.
