Finch LRT makes more sense. It will be a big challenge how to build it from Beecroft east to Bayview as the ROW is narrow there. They could bury a portion of the line. Finch makes a lot more sense as there are more destinations along Finch, including Seneca at Don Mills and decent amount of density on Finch through Scarborough. I doubt this will ever get built. We are still waiting for Finch West to start construction. It doesn't seem to be moving at all.

Finch West (Keele to Humber College only at this time) is about to be tendered. Hopefully.

Beecroft to Yonge, as well as Yonge to Don Mills, do pose some challenges. The road is narrow in places as you said, plus a rather steep hill west of Leslie. Some sections may have to either be tunneled, or shifted to the Hydro Corridor as long as Hydro One does not block that option.

Finch Is fine but the Sheppard line causes an extra inconvenience with an additional transfer to many commuters. Both corridors require a rapid transit solution.

A hybrid solution could work just as well.

Have the Finch LRT route from Humber College to Jane, then down Jane, and across Sheppard. At Keele the line enters a portal heading straight across the Downsview lands without doing the jog and remains underground with subwaylike stop frequency to McCowan Rd. East of Markham Rd it follows the same grade-separated path through Malvern back up to Morningside and Finch with the possibility of piggybacking along the Seaton rail corridor to terminate at the Zoo (seasonal).

Assuming both Eglinton East LRT and the SSE proceed then next phases could be:

Phase 1 Brimley thru Scarborough City Centre, Centennial College, Markham-Milner,and Malvern TC LRT leg.
Phase 2 Extend Eglinton East to Malvern Town Centre to complete local LRT loop.
Phase 3 Sheppard subway from SCC thru Agincourt to the stub to complete subway loop.

Run express Bus from Agincourt subway and LRT end to the Zoo, Begin discussions for the need for a future full Finch LRT line to the Zoo or add branch off existing LRT

The Malvern issue will be resolved and the current West Sheppard (Scarborough) issue will also be resolved. I really don't care which order the build as long as we keep building this time.

Some people on here complain about linear transfers while proposing hybrids creating new linear transfers. Also this hybrid which others have previously preposed is costly
