real estate school could be an option. Google OREA college, they would be able to give you all the information necessary.

It can take 4 months to get a real estate licence

It would seem OP (original poster) is asking about getting into the development/building/marketing of real estate, rather than being an agent.

Perhaps being an agent might allow you to get the contacts needed, but can anyone who is involved provide more insight?

I have an accounting background but would love to get into real estate development!
