Its a nice job not to tower over Fort York. I think I definately like it.

Amazing how much this area has changed in just a few years.

I grew up in this area and I can assure you that this transformation has been taking place for more than 20 years.
That been said, this is a beautiful building and I look forward to the day when all this construction will finally be completed and the area can mature into a real neighbourhood and is being knit into the rest of the city.

It looks like in the absence of city actions, developers have taken the issue of the unsightly Gardiner into their own hands. The many new developments occurring along the expressway are hemming it in and mostly hiding it from view. Soon, all that will remain will be at intersections where the city can then "beautify" and properly light.

The rendering looks like it could be from the angle used to hide a relatively big mechanical structure on the roof. I'm thinking of the angle most memorably used on the X Condo renderings.
