There should be a 'reply' box to click on at RHS below the message.

My other spam messages that I haven't bothered to delete do have a reply box.

I have no idea if it’s me being blind / UI-challenged, but I do not seem to have this option??? i see the option to "follow" when i hover / click on your name. if i click through to your profile, i see "follow" and "find" or i can leave a comment on your public profile...

Oh right. We have it set up so that you need 20 posts/messages before you can see that function. A means of stopping spam.
