The 31-year-old Sunning Plaza, a 28-storey office tower, was Pei's first project in HK, and one of only two (the other being the more famous Bank of China Tower). It has been marked for redevelopment since May of this year, and it will be officially vacated at the end of Sept for demolishing.
The pace of creative destruction in HK still boggles my mind sometimes.
