Docs are up for Kanata North BRT. https://pub-ottawa.escribemeetings....a=Agenda&lang=English&Item=27&Tab=attachments

Corkstown to Ubran boundary on March Road. Median bus lanes.

Estimated costs:
- Corkstown Road to Terry Fox Drive $185 million
- Terry Fox Drive to Buckbean Avenue $125 million
- Buckbean Avenue to Urban Boundary $25 million

Looks like they have done a very good job here updating the plan to reflect reality. If nothing else, and trivially, I love how the road names make this area sound much more interesting and colourful than it really is. Lifestyle! Invention! Who doesn't love a Buckbean Terminus? Apparently this pretty plant decorates Kanata's lo-tech bogs.

The Buckbean Park N Ride, future jewel of the city!

I guess this may be related to ROW space, but Kanata North BRT has medians between the bus lanes and the car lanes for its entire route. Heading SB on March road buses can exit to turn right onto Teron. Heading NB buses can exit to make a left turn onto Terry Fox, and SB buses can turn right from Terry Fox onto March road and then enter the BRT.

In comparison, the Baseline BRT mainly uses a centre median between the BRT lanes and no median with general traffic.
