Yeah, but it doesn't look as bad as some RLA and NEUF versions of random squares and rectangle specials. Still pretty decent. It has some colour too! Here's the old renderings for reference:

It doesn't look anywhere near as nice as the original renders, but still massively outclasses all the Lepine garbage around it, IMHO.

Yea the density is pretty wild given its surroundings. It’s a shame they didn’t plan a commercial main street through this connecting through to centrum

Exactly! That, having nice separated bike lanes and a redevelopment of parking around Kanata Centrums would have been a gamechanger

Too bad it's not served by rapid transit. I guess transit in fields and low density areas were more important.

No main street, but at least there's some retail sprinkled in the area. They could use a small grocery store; they must have enough density by now.

Agreed with Harley, no gem, but far better that the Lépine Lees-Nouveau, or even most Charchwhites in town.

Well, fingers crossed the Otrain eventually extends to Terry Fox.
With those 30 floor towers planned towards the highway in this area, that isn't our of the realm of possibility. Wouldn't be a bad walk from this development to the Otrain.

Yeah, hoping Stage 3, at least to Terry Fox and Fallowfield, come back on the table. Seems Sutcliffe and Ford are determined to halt transit expansion in Ottawa as long as they are around.
