The interesting thing here is the location (inner suburb just off retail-heavy arterial) and the low ratio of parking spots to units (~15 to 77 units.) To have this type of project proposed in a mid-size city on 2 lots currently occupied by sfh says a lot! Some here have been adamant that sfh in Toronto won’t be touched for redevelopment for numerous reasons. I beg to differ.

I think it's important to note that these are the ONLY two single family homes on this stretch of road which is not only lined with 5-12 storey buildings, but also already has multiple proposals like this one, and a well-used bus line
